Better BedRest is working with 211MD for all calls. Trained social workers, interns and other human resources staff will address each individual call. We pride ourselves with our Maternal Assistance Fund and if eligible staff, will send contact information to the Maternal Assistance Fund team. You will receive a phone call from that team member to start the process. Our fund offers grants up to $500 to pay a bill. It is extremely important to make sure you follow the checklist and answer all questions on the application sent to you. We thank all the 211 staff for their hard work in working with Better BedRest! We are proud to say we are 25 Years strong and will keep going!

BBR is still celebrating. We hope you are having a great summer and will celebrate along with us. We will be having another Lularoe Fundraiser on Saturday October 12th from 1-3. Those on our Facebook page can get updated information there. We are also looking at doing some more Restaurant nights. These are always fun to do. If you want to make a donation on this page you can certainly do so anytime. Come out and meet us as we love meeting our supporters. All money will go to the BBR Emergency Grant Fund to help a mom with a high risk pregnancy to pay a bill during this crisis time.
2/22/18 The Johns Hopkins Bloomberg School of Public Health is urgently seeking women who are able to travel to Baltimore for a one-hour interview. Eligible participants must have used a progestogen intervention for a pregnancy at high risk of pre-term birth, within the last 5 years. Women who were at high risk due to a shortened cervix are particularly encouraged to participate. Participants will be compensated $100 for their time; childcare can be provided. We are quickly approaching the time of year for giving. Time certainly flies! Better BedRest would love you to consider making a donation to our Emergency Grant Fund. Every year we get calls about women that have a high risk pregnancy and are struggling to pay rent, car payments, car insurance to name a few. We have been able to many in the last 10 years. We could not do it without your help. Women with high risk pregnancies get evicted, have their cars repossessed and struggle with utilities turned off. Are you able to make a $25 donation?
